Tunisian Step Stitch Cowl Close Up

The Tunisian Step Stitch Cowl designed by Anita Grover is a textured simple stitch with a drop step stitch for added pleasure.

There is a multiple of 6 that make this up which allows you to change the size. With an easy repeating that happens. Once you get started, the Tunisian Step Stitch will align on an angle.

Enjoy this texture design and keep yourself a bit warmer this winter. Make sure you use an Afghan Hook to be able to keep all of your stitches on the hook.

This was inspired by the Crochet Show Time Hat. Anita wondered if a similar idea could be done with Tunisian. This is what she came up with.

    Hi Mikey,

I watched your video for this and fell in love with this stitch. I modified it to make it a scarf instead of a cowl, and made it using a variegated, bulky #5, and it is beautiful! I also made the hat using your instructions in the same bulky yarn but without the seam. Now I just need it to get cold enough to wear them. I live in the southeastern US, and we have been having such mild weather the past few weeks, I barely need a sweater. Thank you for all you do. I love your tutorials, patterns, and all your crazy antics...lol.
